MagMAXX

The MagMAXX is the reinforced evolution of the MagMAX 3. It is a versatile wing specifically developed for lightweight trike units, whilst remaining fully compatible with foot-launched paramotors.

NEW FEATURES

Like the MagMAX 3, its design is derived from the Magnum 4, inheriting the same handling, safety features, and overall high levels of performance. However, the MagMAXX incorporates a strengthened line set, engineered to withstand the increased structural loads encountered during trike operations.

THE PILOT

The MagMaxx is primarily designed for professional pilots, flying with trike or foot-launching heavily loaded.

THE TECH

Years of airfoil research have yielded an excellent balance of solidity and flex, efficiency and damping in the Magnum 4, MagMAX 3 and MagMAXX profile.

An Aspect Ratio of 5.45 improves efficiency and performance.

Thanks to the higher efficiency profile, pilot and passenger are rapidly airborne with the shortest ground roll, ever.

Double 3D shaping in the leading edge further improves efficiency

Shaping of the panels at the trailing edge has created improved feel in the brakes, and incredible handling.

Diagonals and internal structure at the rear chord reduce deformation in turbulence, making the wing more comfortable.

It's the most durable tandem we have ever made, with extensive rib reinforcement to reduce deformation on the bias, making the tandem the best value of any wing we know of (lowest cost per flight of any tandem).

Winglets, to increase the arc for better sail tension and sharper handling while maintaining roll stability - an important element of crew comfort. A new big-ear kit system is independent of the spreaders and allows large big ears with a simple input, with push-button release.

CERTIFICATION

This wing has passed the criteria required by the DGAC and has been load tested to the EN 926-1 standard.

Load tested and certified in accordance with EN standards to 300 kg at 8G, the MagMAXX’s line set has been specifically optimised to support the higher wing loading associated with trike flying. This enhanced safety margin provides increased operational confidence and contributes to greater long-term durability, retaining high load-bearing performance even after extensive use.

IN FLIGHT

The MagMAXX delivers the shortest ground roll of any tandem wing we have produced to date, resulting in exceptionally straightforward and consistent launch characteristics. Both pilot and passenger achieve take-off rapidly, representing a significant improvement over dedicated trike wings with heavily reflexed profiles. Owing to its high-performance profile, the wing offers good glide ratio and sink rate performance for improved efficiency and lower fuel consumption.

Throughout the speed range, the MagMAXX maintains a high level of pitch and roll stability while preserving agile, low-effort handling. The forgiving flight behaviour transitions seamlessly into the landing phase—precise pitch authority and a strong flare capability enable consistently smooth, well-controlled landings.
